What payment methods do you offer?

Do prices include VAT?

Yes all retail prices include VAT.

Do you ship internationally?

Please email us at info@beira.scot to arrange international shipping to your country.

Are there additional charges for delivery outside of the UK?

Customers are responsible for the cost of international shipping and any additional import duties and local sales tax that may be payable on receipt of your order, determined by the items you are ordering and the total value of your order.

How long does UK shipping take?

On average customers will receive their order 2 days after the place it. This varied depending on weekends and bank holidays.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from Edinburgh, Scotland.

Do you offer local pick-up at you store?

Yes you can place an order online and collect it at our store in Stockbridge. Find us at 15 Comley bank Road, EH4 1DS

What is your returns policy?

When can I expect a refund?

Refunds typically take 3-10 business days from receipt of the transaction but will vary depending on your bank.

Am I able to cancel or edit an order I have placed?

Email us at info@beira.scot and we will be able to make amendments to your order if it has not been shipped yet.

Can I return an item if it’s been altered?

We cannot offer a refund to any item that has been altered however you can sell it through our Pre-Loved initiative. Please email info@beira.scot 

How will my order be packaged?

We wrap all our our orders in sustainable and recyclable wrapping. No plastic in sight!

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes we do! Please drop us an email once you have placed your order and we can provide this service free of charge.

What’s the difference between waterproof and water-repellant?

A waterproof garment provides the greatest defence from wet weather, whereas a water-resistant garment provides a decent, though lesser level of protection.

Our collection of waterproof jackets are engineered with technical, bonded and layered fabrics, ensuring both waterproof and breathable properties. Please review product descriptions for specific information on the level of protection offered.

Our water-repellant jackets repel water from the material's surface to prevent saturation. They offer less water protection than other jackets, but are much more breathable and comfortable. In addition, they're highly durable, providing high-level defence against rain and snow.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes we sell virtual and physical gift cards for a selection of amounts. We can email or post gift cards to their recipient or email them to you to pass on.

How sustainable are Beira products?

We embrace the circular economy at all levels of our business, from our offices to store and throughout our supple chain. We source exclusively from ‘waste’ fabrics that are destined for landfill. One of our policies is; No New Materials! This means every element of our garments is made from ‘discarded’ materials, including the zips, buttons, labels and tags. On average we have an 85% reduction in our carbon footprint. We could plant a few trees and call ourselves net zero however we prefer to be totally honest and transparent with our customers. Where are Beira’s products made?

Currently, we are working with 4 different manufacturers. 90% of our collection is made in Italy. We also have multiple suppliers in Scotland and one other in Hong Kong. Head to our About Us section for our full disclosure on all of our manufacturers.

When do you have a sale?

At Beira we don’t do any sales. As each piece is a true limited edition we believe it isn’t fair if there are only a handful of each product made that one customer should get it cheaper than the other. Due to our transparent, direct to customer pricing policy, we have very minimal mark-ups and customers always get an amazing quality garment for an honest, fair price. We will keep each product until its destiny is fulfilled and bought by a customer that loves it, regardless of which season it is.

Do you have a telephone number?

Our shop does not have a landline however you can instant message us on our chat box which pops up on our website, called ‘Chat with us’ or email is at info@beira.scot – we aim to reply to you within 24 hrs.

Do you use cookies and what happens with my data?

Yes, similar to other websites, we employ cookies. A cookie is a small file stored in your web browser on your computer or mobile device. These enable us to maintain your cart contents and remember your preferences when you exit and return to our site.
